Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Record and categorize financial transactions
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Review financial activity for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements
• Maintain supporting documentation for financial transactions
• Assist with payroll-related accounting entries and reconciliations
• Communicate with clients regarding missing information, discrepancies, and bookkeeping questions
• Manage client information requests and deliverables
• Identify and research account discrepancies
• Assist with preparation of information needed for tax filings and year-end accounting
• Ensure established quality standards and deadlines are maintained
• Collaborate with clients, staff, and management
• Provide support on special accounting and bookkeeping projects as needed

Desired Skills and Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits, credits, and general ledger accounting
• Experience with bank and account reconciliations
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with team members at various levels

• Going to the scene of an automobile accident or breakdown, and providing efficient, friendly service while getting the vehicle to our repair shop in a timely manner

• Speaking with drivers to get a better understanding of a vehicle's issue, and why it might need to be towed to our facility

• Heavy-Duty Experience - Hands-on experience repairing large trucks, heavy equipment, and/or RVs.
